Week1"Waiting for fate" In this assignment, you are going to write your mini-saga, a story in only 50 words.

In this assignment, you are going to organize, develop, and write a "how to" paragraph. You'll choose one of the topics to write about: How to make good first impression on a classmate/teacher/friend's parents/ your idea.

Week3 "The most amazing place!" In this assignment, you are going to write your blog post "Why you need to experience Moscow or any other city/country". Be sure to give your opinion with at least three reasons.

Week4 "What makes food taste good?" In this assignment you are going to write a descriptive paragraph about your favorite dish. Mid-term test.

2. Open the QuickMark QR Code Reader app on your mobile phone and scan the code.
3. You are on the Polleverywhere site
4. Do the task by putting the sentences in order and submit your response.

Task 2
1. Open the Encyclopaedia-Britannica app on your mobile phone.
2. Type the name of the chef (provided by the teacher) in the search box.
3. Read about the chef and tell your classmate about his life, answering to the following questions:
-When and where was he/she born?
-How did he/she begin his/her career?
-What is he/she famous for?
-What projects does/did he/she take part in?
Compare the biographies of your chef and that of your partner.

Task 3
1. Open the Werriam-Webster app on your mobile phone.
2. Type the term from the active vocabulary in the search box.
Active vocabulary: Role model, documentary, series, film, soap opera, chat/talk show, cartoon, debates, drama, etc.
4. Read aloud examples of the term in a sentence in your group (3-4 students).
5. Make up your own example of using the term in a sentence and compare it with those of your partners.

Task 4

1. Open the Google Maps app on your mobile phone.
3. Search for one of the places by typing its name in the search box or by clicking  a place marker on the map. For example, Copacabana Beach. 
4. On the left, select the photo with a Street View icon.
5. View the photo and describe the place in three sentences using descriptive adjectives. 
6. When you’re done, go to the top left and click Back.
7. Similarly, search for the next place.

Task 5
1. Write a film review for a teenage magazine following the steps and using the vocabulary you've learnt.
