Course Syllabus

Week 1  (January 16-23)
"Waiting for fate." Writing a mini-saga - a story in 50 words. Sentence structure. Proverbs: Look before you leap! The early bird catches the worm! Out of sight, out of mind! Never say die! Let sleeping dogs lie! Better late than never!

Week 2 (January 23-30)
"How do you make a good first impression?" Identifying main ideas and supporting details in the text. Using mobile dictionaries for learning word forms. Discussing the proverb "All is not gold that glitters". Organizing and developing a paragraph. Writing a "how to" paragraph.

Week 3 (January 30-February 6)

"The most amazing place!" Travel blog. Punctuation. Using Google maps to find and describe pictures. Descriptive language. Writing a blog post "Why you need to experience Moscow or any other city/country".

Week 4 (February 6-13)

"What makes food taste good?" Descriptive language. Use and placement of adjectives. Writing a descriptive paragraph. 

Week 5 (February 13-20)

"Jamie’s perfect omelette." Reading and discussing the biographies of famous chefs in mobile Britannica. Instructions/recipes. Sequence adverbs. Digital storytelling-instruction.

Week 6 (February 20-27)

"What does it take to be successful?" Adjective +preposition collocations. Discussing the questions: "Why is it important to learn English? Who will you speak English with in the future? Where will you speak English in the future?" Writing an opinion paragraph. 

Week 7 (February 27-March 6)

"How has technology affected your life?" Discussing TV habits. TV vocabulary. Synonyms. Parallel structure. Writing a summary and an opinion paragraph.    

Week8 (March 6-13)

"Why do people help each other?" Discussing the question: "How altruistic do you think you are? Give examples to support your opinion. Why do you think some people are more altruistic than others?" Phrasal verbs. Gerunds and infinitives. Stating reasons and giving examples. Writing a paragraph with reasons and examples.

Week 9 (March 13-20)
Personal letter. The Unified State Exam: Evaluation criteria. Rules of letter writing (etiquette). Logic. paragraph division. Normative structure. The plan of the letter.

      Задание Digital storytelling

Цель задания: развитие устно-речевых умений,  развитие письменно-речевых умений, развитие фонологической компетенции, развитие ИК компетенции

Уровень ИК-компетенции обучающихся: пользовательский

Уровень ИК-компетенции педагога: предметно-педагогический

Использование веб инструментов: iMovie, Windows Movie Maker

Технические условия: компьютер или мобильное устройство с установленными графическим редактором и видеоредактором, поддерживающим звукозапись.

Уровень владения языком: В1

Формулировка задания: Создайте озвученный цифровой рассказ –инструкцию продолжительностью 2-3 минуты. В рассказе используйте собственные изображения и/или изображения, использование которых разрешено авторами.

Этапы реализации задания:

1. Составьте пошаговый план вашей инструкции. Это может быть любая инструкция/руководство, которое во время выполнения задания вы попробуете на практике и сможете зафиксировать визуально:  Рецепт приготовления печенья, Руководство по использованию кофе-машины и т.д.

2. Подготовьте мультимедийный материал. Для этого необходимо сделать фотографии/видео для каждого пункта инструкции.

3. Зайдите в видеоредактор и создайте новый проект. Выберете  сделанные вами изображения и вставьте их на монтажную линейку в том порядке, в котором они должны идти согласно инструкции. Попробуйте изменить такие настройки, как длительность показа слайда, эффект переходов и т.д.

4. На основе разработанного плана напишите подробную инструкцию для каждого шага. Не забывайте, что инструкция должна быть четкой и понятной, но в то же время она должна содержать необходимую информацию для людей, которые собираются печь печенье/пользоваться кофе-машиной и т.д. впервые.

5. Создайте аудиозапись для созданного видеоряда-инструкции, просмотрите ее, при необходимости внесите изменения. Возможно необходимо будет изменить длительность показа слайда  в соответствии с продолжительностью аудиозаписи конкретного шага инструкции.

6. Сохраните видеозапись.

7. Опубликуйте цифровой рассказ, например, на YouTube или Vimeo. Для этого зайдите на YouTube через мобильное приложение или веб-браузер.

8. Добавьте новое видео (стрелка в верхнем правом углу). Выберете файл для загрузки или перетащить файл мышью. Выберете параметры доступа. Некоторые видеоредакторы позволяют экспортировать цифровой рассказ в YouTube /Vimeo/Facebook и т.д. сразу из программы. (Файл – Экспортировать- YouTube/iTunes и т.д.)

9. Добавьте название цифрового рассказа, его описание, тэги.

10. Опубликуйте видео. Скопируйте ссылку и опубликуйте ее на учебном блоге курса.

Планируемый результат: развитие навыков и умений устной монологической речи, развитие письменно-речевых умений (жанр-инструкция), развитие грамматических навыков, развитие фонологической компетенции, развитие ИК компетенции.

Организация работы: индивидуально дома;

Время выполнения: 1,5-2 часа;

Критерии оценивания: Содержание текста: соответствие правилам написания инструкций, грамматическая правильность речи; словарный запас; использование изученных лексических единиц (sequence adverbs etc); фонетическое оформление речи; соответствие требованиям, указанным в задании.
